PE Teacher

I have been working as a sports trainer for the past 10 years. Before that I used to be an army officer and an IBM programmer.

Working with children means hard work.  But it is my vocation. I like to see the children making progress from the very first trainig to later times. I am proud looking how naughty boys become well-behaved and polite and try to help each other. It is very awarding to hear a child says "I will help you to become better" instead of "I am better than you". I even think that children come from some other planet, and I am eager to return them back on Earth. It does not necessarily mean that I show different tricks. Children also should put their efforts in order to hit the target. They need to observe, draw conclusions, and try over and over again. The adults’ world is full of rules, instructions and restrictions. They are driving regulations, hygiene rules and many others. Each child should learn to stick to them. Children often confuse the inner freedom and the overindulgence. And what I teach is that freedom is not equal to absence of self-discipline. Sense of responsibility should include yourself as well as the others. At my lessons we go through individual exercises as well as in pairs and team work. Acrobatics, jiu-jitsu and mini football are all focused on becoming better and gaining new useful qualities. Children become stronger, more persistence and work out stamina. They acquire a better orientation in space and learn to make quick decisions. To sum up, my goal is to make children happy throuh motion.
